For Parents: 

We are excited your child is participating in Vacation Bible School at Hickory Ridge Baptist!

There are a few things we want to communicate before Monday that will make things helpful for you, as well as us in planning and preparing for your child for the week!

Drop off / Registration Info

When you arrive Monday to drop off, please park in the back parking lot of the North Campus and walk your child to the registration tables so we can get them registered if they are not pre-registered (Cars must be moved by 6:30pm). Registration will be located at the house next door of North Campus. We have provided a map for directions and there will be signs when you arrive. Registration starts at 5:30pm each night, along with the snack supper.

If your child is pre-registered, please make your way to the pre-registration tent and find the pick up number line where you will receive your pick up number (keep this with you) and your child’s crew number. If you are not registered, please go to the registration tent. 

We ask that you please stay until doors are open at 6:15 p.m. There will be a snack supper starting at 5:30 p.m. for your child to eat while they wait. Once they’re inside, we ask if the back parking lot could be cleared, so that we can get everything set up for pick up.

The doors will open at 6:15pm. Crews # 1-20 will be preschool and #’s 21-40 will be 1st-6th. This is where children will receive their name tags. You are free to go once children are in their crews. Once opening starts, we ask for parents to make their way to vehicles for the safety of our children. We have around 300 volunteers who are screened and ready to serve your children this week and we are anticipating 400 children, which will make the worship center tight.

Tshirts/ Hats

There will be a table to pick up pre-ordered shirts. There will be limited quantities available for purchase. They are $10. New for 2026, we have HATS(2 options) for $20 each. We will also have our previous t-shirts for purchase.

Pick Up / Carpool Line

When you come to pick up your child, please go to the North Campus parking lot south entrance and follow the diagram. We will begin the carpool line as soon as all groups are in the worship center around 8:30pm. We will push traffic in one entrance and out of another entrance to keep cars flowing through the parking lot. Parents will wind around to the back and there will be someone entering car tag numbers. Once you get to the front entrance of the church, your child will be in line waiting for you. MONDAY night at registration, you will receive a card to put on your dashboard with your kids’ name and a number on them for pick up. If you do not have this card, you will be asked to park to verify your child. If someone else will be picking up your child, please be sure they have the number to pick them up. THIS NUMBER IS SUPER IMPORTANT. It will keep the line moving smoothly and make things easier when it comes time for pick up!

FAMJAM (Friday Family Night) 

We will have Mike the Party Guy with us!! We will start at 6pm and eat following the event. If we raise our offering goal of $1500, we will have a FOAM PARTY!
